Description
Integrating Cookiebot CMP with a WordPress site involves the following steps:
- Classifying the cookies used into essential and optional (and subcategories such as statistics and marketing)
- Installation of the Cookiebot WordPress plugin on the site and configuration of settings
- Depending on the technical implementation of the site, the PHP/JS code of the theme is used to manually define the classification of special cases, if necessary
- Running the Cookiebot scan and reviewing the results
- If the scan classifies cookies found outside the subcategories used, scan and reclassify them
- A report is provided on the cookies used on the site, their current classification and instructions for future use (should any changes or additions be made to the use of cookies on the site)
- Confirmation that all cookies found on the site have been classified and that the Cookiebot integration is GDPR compliant
